Hi, thanks for surfing in on my little website.....

I'm Howard Vyse (aka 'RSol') & I've achieved the astonishing age of 62 now (ouch). I am currently living in Sheffield in South Yorkshire.

I am twice divorced (ouch & ouch again) & the current love of my life is my Honda CRX delSol SiR - Sad I know!!!

The Vyse family name is uncommon in the UK. My father came from Cheshire & his father came from a large family in the Staffordshire area. You can view my Family Tree here. There are a number of variations on the origin of the Vyse name, but according to genealogy books in Sheffield city library, the name goes back to a 'John de la Vise' who came to England in 1227. He was a friend of the King of England who gave him land around the town now known as Devises in Wiltshire. If there are any other Vyse's out there in cyberspace, I would be interested in hearing from you so please feel free to email me.

I enjoy listening to most types of music but as I get older I am softening towards rock balads, though my musical roots are in rock & my all time favourite artists are...
